Meet Recap

The Waldron Mohawks won the Shelby County title for the second year in a row at last night’s Cross Country contest. The Waldron Mohawks had five athletes finish in the top 6, thus putting us only two points away from a perfect score. Jacob James led the Mohawks with a time of 17:21, which put him in first place. Ethan Trueblood placed second with a time of 18:29. Zach Montgomery placed third with a time of 18:33. Andrew Montgomery placed fifth with a time of 18:54. Collin Simpson improved upon his season’s best by running a time of 19:15, which put him in sixth place. Stewart Douglas placed eleventh with a time of 20:49. Devon Higdon ran a time of 23:37, which was good enough for twenty-third place.
