Waldron High School will host the second annual Military Night basketball games against Morristown on Friday, December 11th. There will be several events taking place to honor military veterans and families, as well as to raise money for Helping Hands for Freedom. A detailed schedule of the evening is posted below. The girls game will take place first at 6:00 followed by the boys game with an (approximate) 8:00 tip. Game admission is $5.00/person. Come out and support our local heroes and their families!

5:00-7:00 Dinner served in the cafeteria. Cost is $7.00/person.

5:30 Registration of Military Veterans in hallway

All evening there will be commemorative t-shirts sold by Z-Shirts printing

6:00 National Anthem sung by Waldron and Morristown choirs, moment of silence, varsity girls game

7:30 (approximate) Girls trophy presentation, military veterans called down to the court to stand near the flag of their branch. Each veteran’s name will be announced.

8:00 (approximate) Boys game

Halftime of boys game: Special song performance by Waldron and Morristown Elementary students, donations collected for Helping Hands for Freedom.

After the boys game, the trophy will be presented to the winning team and a check will be presented to Helping Hands for Freedom.
