Mohawks News · Boys Basketball Falls to Liberty Christian 86-66

After a snowy week, the Mohawks were able to travel to Liberty Christian for a non-conference game Friday evening.  Waldron had no trouble scoring, but the Lions’ quickness and strength made it tough for the Mohawks to get defensive stops.

Bryce Yarling was fantastic all night, leading all scorers with 32 points, including exploding for 16 points in the third quarter alone.  Tyler Bowlby notched 15 points, which brought him to 970 career points with two regular season games remaining.  Jacobi Percell chipped in 10 points.

In the end, the Lions were victorious on their senior night, 86-66.  The Mohawks are back in action next Thursday for a varsity only game at Indiana Deaf for a 6pm tip off.
