The boys basketball team traveled to Indianapolis Thursday evening for a varsity only match up with Indiana School for the Deaf. The Mohawks started fast, thanks to early buckets by Bryce Yarling, Tyler Bowlby, and Jacobi Percell. Waldron forced several ISD turnovers and did a good job turning those into baskets.
Ethan Trueblood was fantastic all night, leading all scorers with 20 points. Bowlby added 18, taking him to 989 career points and Yarling had 16.
Lucas Mitchell (5 points), Caden Sheaffer (3 points), and Mitch Coon (2 points) all had quality minutes and contributed well on the defensive end.
The Mohawks travel to Anderson Prep Friday night for their final tune up before sectional play. Tickets for Wednesday’s sectional game vs. Rising Sun are currently on sale in the high school office.
