The Mohawks traveled to Brownsburg Saturday night to take on the Bethesda Christian Patriots in a non-conference game. The Mohawks had great energy the entire game, getting off to a fast start thanks to balanced scoring in the first half. Some key threes kept the Patriots in the game in the first half, but Waldron began to pull away in the 3rd quarter thanks to 8 points apiece from JT Johns and Tyler Bowlby in the quarter.
In the 4th quarter, both offenses exploded. The Mohawks weathered a barrage of Patriot three pointers thanks to great free throw shooting in the fourth quarter. Tyler Bowlby was 15-20 from the FT in the 4th quarter alone (18-24 overall). Lucas Mitchell, Ethan Trueblood, and Jacobi Percell all helped ice the game with 4th quarter free throws.
The Mohawks play next Friday at home for Homecoming against Southwestern for a chance at the Shelby County Bell.
