The Waldron Mohawks dropped a rare Tuesday night game at Eastern Hancock. The Mohawks hung with the royals through the first quarter, but the royals’ sharp shooters helped build a lead that they would never relinquish.
Senior Cameron Wells led the way with 16 points, 14 of those in the first quarter to keep Waldron within striking distance. Sophomore Shawn Cole stepped up and scored seven points. In his first varsity start of the season, freshman Jacobi Percell went toe-to-toe with the veteran bigs from Eastern Hancock. Percell added five points and grabbed four rebounds. The Mohawks are back in action as they travel to Hope to battle the jets of Hauser.
