The Waldron Mohawks fell to the Knightstown panthers 74-49 in the final game of the 2017 calendar year. Knightstown used a great first quarter to take command. The Mohawks were able to cut the panthers’ lead to just ten in the third quarter, but Knightstown pulled away. The seniors led the way for the Mohawks. Cole Adams led the way with 20 points on a great shooting night. Cam Wells had a gutsy performance, coming back to the game after a hard foul causing him to be out, adding nine points. Senior Nick Depotty came in and played crucial minutes and grabbed four rebounds while showing his leadership on the team.

The Mohawks are back in action on Friday as they host the Shelby County tournament. Waldron plays Southwestern in the 6pm game, with Triton Central vs Morristown to follow.
