The Mohawks were paid a visit by conference and township rival Morristown on the fourth annual Military Night held by Shelby Eastern Schools. The Yellow Jackets took control early thanks to good outside shooting and lack of offensive execution by the Mohawks. Waldron eventually found a groove and shots began to fall, but the Morristown remained in control for the duration of the game.
Senior Cameron Wells had a solid showing scoring fifteen points and notching four assists and three rebounds. Junior forward Zane Smith had perhaps his best outing of the season with eight points, six rebounds, and four blocks. Senior Cole Adams was cold from the floor for the most part, but did finish with six points. Sophomore J.T. Johns was effective off the bench scoring five points without a miss from the field.
The Mohawks host the Milan Indians Saturday night at home at 7:30pm.
