The Waldron Mohawks fell to the Morristown Yellow Jackets 68-35 in the first round of Sectional 60 at Southwestern.
Morristown used a 25-2 first quarter to quickly take command. The Mohawks responded in the second quarter, and virtually played toe-to-toe with the jackets. Seniors Cameron Wells and Cole Adams ended their Waldron careers showing great leadership. Wells led with nine points, Adams added six points. Junior Zane Smith had six points and recorded three blocks. Freshman Tyler Bowlby played a physical game, drawing the defense attention of Morristown’s Indiana All-Star candidate, adding eight points and grabbing five rebounds.
