The Mohawks hosted Eminence to celebrate Senior Night and the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday. JT Johns and Shawn Cole were honored before the game and presented gifts from the team and coaches.

Cole got the game started with a bucket and added 7 points in the first quarter to help boost the Mohawks to a 1 point lead after 1. A sloppy second quarter and a half court buzzer beater by Eminence resulted in the Eels taking a 4 point lead to halftime.

Waldron got back on track in third thanks to buckets from Tyler Bowlby and Cole, along with Lucas Mitchell and Jacobi Percell. The Mohawks shot themselves in the foot in the fourth quarter, missing several free throws down the stretch. In the end, the Mohawks led 50-48 with 15 seconds left when Nolan Ringler knocked down a three to put the Eels up by a point. A last second shot by the Mohawks was short and the Eels won in a heartbreaker.

The Mohawks find out their sectional opponent and game date tomorrow afternoon and will play in sectionals the first week of March at Southwestern.
