The Waldron Mohawks were beat by Hauser 79-64 on Friday night. Turnovers and missed free throws by Waldron allowed Hauser to take the game.
Waldron was led in scoring by junior Parker Huffman with 17 points. Along with Huffman, the junior class stepped up in a big way. JT Johns added 13 points, shooting 86% from the field, and grabbed four rebounds. Shawn Cole dished out five assists and added ten points.
Senior Zane Smith got back on track, recording a double-double for the third time this season.
Waldron hits the road against sectional opponents this weekend. They are at Southwestern on Friday then at Rising Sun on Saturday.
